A Creative Practice Rooted in Healing: Art-as-Therapy

My art-as-therapy workshops are designed as safe, nurturing spaces where creativity becomes a bridge to healing and self-discovery. Rooted in the belief that art can speak where words fall short, each session invites participants — especially youths and young adults — to explore their emotions, reflect on their journeys, and find renewal through creative expression.

Blending therapeutic art practices with meaningful themes, my workshops are crafted to guide individuals toward deeper wholeness, one brushstroke, pressed flower, or sculpted form at a time.

What We
Offer

01

Faith-Based Art-as-Therapy Workshops

Rooted in Christian values, these workshops are designed to guide participants into deeper healing, reflection, and connection with God through the creative process. Sessions invite individuals to bring their emotions, hopes, and struggles before God, using art as a medium of prayer, surrender, and renewal. Through scripture-inspired themes and gentle facilitation, participants are encouraged to experience wholeness as God sees them — beloved, restored, and made new.

02

General Art-as-Therapy Workshops

These workshops offer a safe, inclusive space for creative exploration and emotional healing, open to individuals of all backgrounds. Through therapeutic art practices, participants are guided to express their inner thoughts and feelings, reflect on their personal journeys, and cultivate self-awareness and growth. Each session is designed to be a nurturing experience where creativity becomes a powerful tool for restoration, resilience, and renewal.

I enjoyed the part where we shaped the clay to reflect how God sees us. It helped me step into His perspective and reminded me that while He spoke the word to create other beings, He chose to get His hands dirty just to make me. As I carefully molded the clay to create a small "me" , hoping it would turn out well, I was reminded that God has fearfully and wonderfully made me with intention, purpose, and so much love.

So often, when I look at myself, I see my flaws, insecurities and fears, along with how the world perceives me. But instead of striving for validation from the world, I am reminded to find my identity in Him and to embrace His grace, His truth, and the assurance that I am deeply loved by God and I am beautiful in His eyes.
