Florence has worked under my supervision for the last 11 months as a Graphic Designer and then a Merchandising Assistant. During her time at Gnome & Bow, she has demonstrated great attitude in learning and staying open-minded even for roles that she might not have prior experience in.

As Florence’s direct supervisor, I feel humbled by her diligence in learning and humility to feedback given. She carries out every tasks given very diligently and never fail to ensure that each task is fulfilled at the given timeline. When tasked with projects that she had no prior knowledge in, I can trust that she will go all out to find out how each task may be accomplished independently. As such, Florence has a reputation in our company as someone trustworthy and a great team player.

Florence is also a malleable and open-minded team player who volunteered to rotate her position from a Graphic Designer to Merchandising Assistant due to business needs. For example, at a time our company has hired too many creatives while wasn’t able to find suitable candidates to help with daily operational activities, Florence had positively volunteered to take on the Merchandising Assistant role. In her time as a Merchandising Assistant, Florence has helped to ensure the operations is run smoothly, exercised leadership skills in training all interns who were under her care with product and operational knowledge. Her contributions helped us achieve our financial goals last year, as well as non-financial goals such as creation of monogramming guideline and improvement in efficiency for pop-up events logistical activities.

I believe that Florence will be able to contribute to your program in a number of ways. Not only is she a keen learner, she also has a contagious down-to-earth attitude that encourages those around her to work harder and achieve solutions for both personal and professional problems.
